"This hotel was just mins walk away to the beach of Whitley Bay. It's an older hotel and a very good price. Nothing fancy but clean, quiet and plenty of shopping near by. Staff was very nice and friendly. It was just a 1 night stay to enjoy the relaxing sea rather than a busy city and long my journey up the coast line of England to Bamburgh Castle."

"Loved the hotel, the food, and the view of the seaside"

"Really clean & lovely freshly refurbished room, bed was so comfortable. Lovely breakfast & fantastic friendly staff. The facilities are fairly basic but that’s reflected in the price; this hotel is a great value option"

"Such a lovely overnight stay, we were in the area to attend an evening wedding reception. Very clean, great location & superb breakfast & Michael was so welcoming & helpful with the area & directions. Would recommend."

"Lovely stay, exceptionally clean, good location "

"Room was clean, very nice for a B&B, as a pub the food was nice. Great location & free car parking. So overall it’s wonderful"

"Fantastic & peaceful location but still very close to the Main Street."

"Brilliant location right on the front, super easy walk to the Metro and very close to the beach (down some steps). Andrew was very friendly and gave us loads of information about the local area and things to see and do. "

"Was a lovely place to stay and will return"

"It’s was very nice - missing a lightbulb and trash can needed to be cleaned out before we checked in - staff absolutely lovely "

"Awesome place. that has everything you need to make your stay a good one. Hosts so helpful also."

"Clean room, friendly staff, great value."

"Excellent"

"Inside property was clean but hallway was not so much due to seagulls and others, host could have been a bit quicker at responding. Location was very good though parking in front of property was based on first come first served but there was parking on the street which you had to pay for from 9am to 5:30pm. Bed was comfortable sofa was a two seater and very uncomfortable and wobbly. Luckily we didn’t have to spend too much time sitting on it as the tv didn’t work for the last day and a half."

"Lovely apartment, key pick up will be after 4pm Monday to Thursday as the bar is closed beforehand. There is NO ALLOCATED PARKING PERMIT. Staff are lovely at the two businesses downstairs which offer 10% discount for anyone staying here. We lived the apartment so much, it's got a great vibe and had everything we required."

"The host was very accommodating by allowing us to stay with 2 dogs. Unfortunately the caravan is very tired looking, the bed mattresses are very stained and look unclean, we did not sleep in the bed for this reason, and slept on the sofa. We left at 3am as the wind was howling through the windows and we could not settle."

"Great communications with host . Property clean and tidy."

"Fabulous little room with great views out front, excellent location too"

"Abandoned front for court, no parking. Extremely dated furniture and appliances. Two forks in the property when they were expecting a family of five. No curtains in master bedroom. Very uncomfortable futon for a child’s bed. Old worn out pool table in living room. Good point was the speediness of the replies from the manager when we had problems getting into the property and accessing the WiFi."
